The average weekly rent for the year, based on the above figures, is £66.63 per person, per week.  This is worked out as follows:-

10 payments of £315.00 plus 2 payments of £157.50 = 11 payments of £315.00, which is £3,465.00 for the year's tenancy.  Divide this by 52 weeks and you get an average weekly rent for the year of £66.63

Doing it this way has in the past resulted in some tenants seriously underestimating their monthly expenditure, causing severe problems for all concerned.

Rent is payable monthly during the Summer and quarterly for the rest of the year, paid with post-dated cheques.  You will be supplied with exact payment details before you sign your lease.  Cheques should be handed in at our office before your lease commences and should not, if at all possible, be left until the day you collect your house keys, when the office will be exceptionally busy.  Detailed information on collecting keys, moving in, and cheques required will be handed to you when signing your tenancy agreement.
